Sarah is a licensed occupational therapist from Mundelein. She attended the University of Illinois at Chicago, where she earned her bachelor's degree in Kinesiology with a concentration in Movement Sciences. She later attended Governors State University, where she earned her Master of Occupational Therapy degree. As someone whose family has been impacted by a neurodegenerative disease, she has a special interest in the dynamic interplay between the mind and body and its effect on function and participation. She has continuing education training in MNRI techniques (Dynamic & Postural Reflex Pattern Integration, Proprioceptive and Cognitive Integration, and Tactile Integration), Sensory Integration, Oral and Respiratory Integration, Neurodevelopmental Treatment, DIR Floortime, Therapeutic Listening, school-based occupational therapy, and Early Intervention. She is a proud band geek for life and enjoys performing with her flute ensemble, Flutopia. She also enjoys spending her leisure time with her soon-to-be husband and their Pitbull, Gypsie.
